BNB Chain, the largest smart contract blockchain in terms of transaction volume and users in Web3, and Google Cloud, have entered into a strategic collaboration to enable early-stage Web3 and blockchain startups to develop and scale high-performance, efficient, and sustainable innovations for users and the entire industry.
A combination of BNB Beacon Chain (previously Binance Chain) and BNB Smart Chain (previously Binance Smart Chain), BNB Chain currently has more than 1,300 active decentralized applications (dApps) across multiple categories like decentralized finance (DeFi), metaverse, blockchain games, and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in its ecosystem. This collaboration expands BNB Chain’s commitment toward providing talented Web3 builders with the foundational infrastructure that is needed to grow their projects and dApps into stable, reliable, and valuable parts of the wider ecosystem.

Startups leveraging BNB Chain’s highly competitive and functional blockchain infrastructure can now build on Google Cloud’s open, scalable, developer-friendly, secure, and sustainable cloud infrastructure. In addition, these BNB Chain projects can tap Google Cloud services for on-demand analysis of on-chain data and the encryption of data while it is being processed in real-time.

As a part of this collaboration, BNB Chain will facilitate accelerated access to the Google for Startups Cloud Program for eligible Web3 builders in its ecosystem, including those under the Most Valuable Builder (MVB) accelerator program. The Google for Startups Cloud Program provides Google Cloud credits each year for up to two years, and helps eligible early-stage startups to establish and grow their businesses. It will also allow Web3 builders who join the program to:
- Connect with Google Cloud Startup Success team members and Google’s technical subject matter experts in data management, data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), zero trust security, and more;
- Participate in Web3 developer workshops;
- Benefit from access to Google Cloud Skills Boost training and certification; and
- Join Google Cloud’s global customer community group.
Organized by BNB Chain and Binance Labs, the MVB accelerator program identifies developers and startups that need the right foundation to continue building and scaling cutting-edge Web3 products and dApps for users. It provides these projects with funding, mentorship, and community-driven support.
