The COVID-19 pandemic has thrust supply chains to the center of attention over the past year, and companies are seeking technologies to help build robust and resilient logistics processes that support sustained growth and success. The massive disruption of the past 12+ months has underscored the critical importance of re-platforming, transforming, and evolving supply chain systems—such as transportation operations.
From our partners:
With logistics and transportation operations continuing to play an increasingly key role in supply chain resilience and business growth, we are honored that Gartner has once again recognized Oracle as a Leader in its 2021 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Transportation Management Systems1 report.
This is the 14th time we have been named a Leader in transportation management systems (TMS), and of 15 companies evaluated, we were placed as a Leader based on our completeness of vision and ability to execute for Oracle Fusion Cloud Transportation Management—part of Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain & Manufacturing (SCM). A complimentary copy of the report is available here, and a complimentary copy of the accompanying Gartner 2021 Critical Capabilities for Transportation Management Systems2 report is available here.

In the report, Gartner noted, “TMS technology is on the rise. The latest Gartner forecast on TMS, worldwide, estimates that the market is expected to grow from $1.32 billion to $2.11 billion (from 2019 through 2024). That is a growth of 60% over a five-year period. Factors such as the need to reduce costs; improve internal productivity, efficiency and customer service; increase visibility; and make better use of capacity are driving the growth of the market through 2024.”
Oracle Transportation Management draws on the real-time, actionable insights delivered by advanced technologies such as the Internet of Things and AI to provide our customers with the capabilities they need to run highly efficient logistics and transportation operations.
